Corporate Quality Assurance (CQA) in association with PMI organized three-day residential training programme on “Quality Control & Quality Assurance in Concrete Structure” at NCCBM, Ballabgarh, from 6th to 8th Dec, 2023. About 23 executives from FQA, Civil Construction & O&M Departments of 21 locations including Thermal, Coal Mining, and RE projects participated in this programme.

Dr L P Singh, Director General, NCCBM; Dr D K Panda, Joint Director, NCCBM and Shri Bidhan Chandra Roy, GM (QA&I), NTPC graced the valedictory session.

The primary objective of the program is to provide comprehensive insights on key subjects, such as Sampling, Testing, and Evaluation of Civil Construction Materials, Concrete Design Mix, Durability of Concrete, Changes in Codal Provision, and Non-destructive Testing and Evaluation of Concrete Structures. The programme incorporates practical laboratory demonstrations for material testing and concrete mix design, non-destructive testing for hands on experience of the participants.
